30-300 HALF MASK



 

ICAN Half Mask 30-300 is a CE-marked half mask,tested and approved in accordance with European standards EN 140:1989,for the protection of the user´s respiratory organs against harmful solid and liquid particles, fumes and gases.

ICAN Half Mask 30-300 is a newly developed and state of the art half mask which provides safety and comfort in even the most exacting working enviroments.



 





 

Face blank:
30-300 is produced in soft neoprene rubber, which is kind to the skin. The anatomical design fits the shape of the face perfecly to provide maximum tightness and comfort.

Head harness:
30-300 is equipped with adjustable straps ("quick release") which ensure a rapid, perfect and comfortable fit. The two-piece head band ensures that the mask cannot slip and is thus held in the same position on the face during use.

Filters:
Only ICAN-filters are tested and approved for use with 30-300. The filters has an ICAN-bayonet socket which enables quick and easy connection. Always fit two new filters at the same time on 30-300. The bayonet socket's location on the filter means that, after fitting to the mask, the filter's centre of gravity is located close to the face, which provides good weight distribution and unhindered vision.
The following ICAN-filters are available for 30-300: P3, A2, A2-P3, A1B1E1-P3 and A1B1E1K1-P3 (Refer to technical data sheet for these filters). Please contact us if other filter types are needed. 		3 sizes:
30-300 is produced in 3 sizes: Small-Medium-Large. Whatever the user's facial shape and size, there is therefore always a 30-300 which fits the user's face tightly and comfortably.

Front piece:
The straps on the 30-300 are fixed to a plastic front plate so that, when in use, the mask is pressed against the face with a uniformly distributed pressure, which provides the best and safest fit.

Exhalation valve:
Exhalation takes place through a very low resistance exhalation valve which sits in a valve housing and is thus well-protected against contamination and impurities. The exhaled air is led directly out of the mask so that the air exchange is improved considerably since the amount of moist exhaled air remaining in the mask is kept to a minimum.

Inhalation valve:
Inhalation takes place via two inhalation valves, whose natural rubber membranes offers only very low resistance.

Warning!
If the oxygen content of the air is less than 17% (by volume) oxygen, an air supply must be used instead of filters. If the polluted air's oxygen content is 17-21% (by volume), ICAN HALF MASK 30-300 can be used with ICAN particle filters, ICAN gas filters and ICAN combined filters with ICAN-Bayonet socket. If the air´s gas content exceeds 0.1% (by volume),full face masks (ICAN full face 20-100, ICAN full face 20-300 B or ICAN full face 20-300 Y) should be used. If the half mask is to be used in situations which require a particulary high degree of hygiene and comfort, or where there is a risk of adhesion of dyes, for example, it is recommended that the ICAN half mask 30-500 non-allergic sillicone half-mask be used. This mask is also available in 3 sizes. Refer to technical data sheet for 30-500. It is important that the half mask's instruction manual is read carefully before use.
